The new H1N1 vaccine will be available in October or November. Public Health professionals have identified five priority groups to receive H1N1 vaccine first.
  • Pregnant women
  • People who live with or care for children younger than 6 months of age
  • Healthcare and emergency medical services personnel
  • Persons between the age of 6 months through 24 years of age
  • People ages 25 through 64 who are at high risk because of a chronic health condition
  • The vaccine will be available to persons not in a priority group around December or January.
  • To determine if you have a chronic health condition or if you have any questions, call your doctor’s office.
